The StartGreen Award honors innovative start-up concepts, business ideas, and technologies that contribute to more sustainability and climate protection and. As one of the most renowned prizes for the green entrepreneurs’ scene in Germany, it brings the winners visibility and access to a wide network of Green Economy Start-ups as well as cash prizes with a total of 60 000 €.

In the final pitch, Klaus Wiesen (CEO of sustainabill) convinced the jury with their pioneering business concept: sustainabill’s cloud platform enables companies to include reliable sustainability information about their deep supply chain in their management decisions. With this trendsetting and future- orientated concept, implemented in a customer-friendly cloud platform, sustainabill facilitates efficient cooperation between all players along the supply chain. Companies uncover their supply chain, enhance transparency and, as a result, identify and mitigate sustainability risks along their supply chain. This allows for more sustainable management decisions in the long run.
